About Aviate Alabama

Aviate Alabama turns public flight data into investigative stories about the aircraft of the global elite. Every day, aircraft broadcast their positions over public ADS-B signals, and registrations and flight records sit in public FAA databases. On their own, those are just numbers and coordinates. We aggregate, clean, and contextualize that public data into clear, documented narratives — mapping where private jets actually go, who flies them, and what their movements reveal.

What We Cover

  • Celebrity aviation — the private jets of musicians, athletes, and public figures.
  • Corporate aviation — the aircraft of executives and the companies they run.
  • Notable & billionaire aircraft — the most-tracked tail numbers in the world.
  • NASCAR — the busy skies of motorsport’s owners, drivers, and teams.

What We Do

Beyond the stories we publish, we produce:

  • Flight-data journalism — deep, sourced analyses built from months of tail-number data.
  • Aircraft filming — ground and air documentation of specific aircraft and operations.
  • Airport ground-intelligence reports — inventory and activity intelligence for specific airfields.

How We Work

We work exclusively from publicly available information — ADS-B broadcasts, FAA registration and flight records, and open sources. We document aircraft, not people, and we are careful to separate what the data shows from what it doesn’t. Where the public record stops, so do we.
